#27 - Progress report

So it's been a few weeks since my last report, although many of you will no doubt know what I've been up to via my Facebook posts. (It didn't happen if its not posted on Facebook, you know this!)

What you won't know is since starting this quest of mine on 04 Jan I have lost a total of 9.9kgs. An absolutely fabulous 'side effect' to getting active. (And eating well and drinking lots of water!)

I've walked a combined total of 400.01kms, that's equivalent to Wellington to Mokai (or just before. Mokai is just after Taupo). OR Wellington to Palmerston North return and then back to Shannon. Wow, just as I type that I'm pretty impressed with myself haha.

I've had a fabulous time exploring some beautiful walkways around Wellington North as well as exploring my own back yard of Whitby. We are so lucky to have so many walkways at our doorstep.

I'm looking forward to doing the Round the Bays next week. We have our race bibs and the parentals are looking forward to the morning as well.

I signed up for another club competition for squash. It's called Summer fun so as the name suggests it's all about having fun while being active. We're put into teams of five and play round robins against other teams. Bryan and I are not in the same team which always makes for an interesting round when our teams play each other. Of course when Bryan plays my team mate I quietly fist pump when he scores a point hehe.

It's been an amazing almost 5 weeks and I'm counting down the days to our 16th anniversary where all my training will pay off. Roll on 24 March 2017!
