Tonight I join the world in morning for the lives lost in Orlando.
My love and thoughts are with the victims and all their family and friends as they try to make sense of the disgusting act of murder of innocent people who were simply living their lives.
It’s not okay that acts of terrorism continue to scare the world and rob families of mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters and children, for no apparent reason. It’s just not okay that people are targeted because of their sexual orientation, cultural beliefs, age, gender anything, it’s NOT OK!
I am a proud ally, one of many millions across the world. My most trusted, most authentic and funniest friends identify with the LGBTI community and I simply could not imagine my life without them. My life is certainly richer for having them walk along side me.
We all must take charge and be the change that this world needs by not tolerating discrimination, of any kind!
To our LGBTI community around the world, stand strong, proud and never accept anything less than you deserve…ever!
