Drumming to a new beat

A couple of weeks ago I enrolled in drumming lessons, one of my tasks on my to do list. Last night I had my first lesson and boy, it was even better than I expected.

I thought my instructor would lol when I told him my end goal, to play a Metallica tune. To my surprise, before the end of my 30 min session I was drumming away to Enter Sandman. Clearly not like a pro but it was a great start. Even my support crew waiting outside (aka husband in the waiting room) could hear me and said I sounded "ok"...haha. I'll work on upgrading that to awesome in no time.

Thrilled I've finally had a go and I'm looking forward to the next session.
